Fermenting for Life

I'm new to fermenting and am just getting the mojo to eat really healthy after struggling all my life to do so (haven't been unhealthy, just not REAL healthy in my eating). Am wondering if I start sprouting things like the sunflowers in your article if it would be o.k. to ferment them like you do cabbage for example?

Thanks for your help and great web site.

Fermenting sunflower sprouts.

Interesting question.

I know you can sprout and ferment shelled sunflower seeds to make tasty raw seed cheeses but sunflower greens have such a high water content that I've always enjoyed eating them fresh.

I'm not saying you can't ferment them but I've never gone there.

If you decide to give it a whirl I'd love to know how it works out.
